Positive Negative
Positive Negative is an annual publication created by the joint editorial design and photography class at RIT. I was elected to the position of co-art director, and thus was directly involved in the final organization, content selection and look and feel of the magazine.
Slow Food
The Slow Food Movement aims to help people rediscover the joys of eating. In direct opposition to fast food and many food industry practices, this organization and mentality is all about going back to basics. My photographer and I spent a day at the local farmer's market, where we were inspired by the beautiful colors and textures of the fresh fruits and vegetables. We used these to emphasize the way your senses will pop if you embrace the slow food way of life.
Nostalgia
Nostalgia is a retrospective of RIT, when the campus was located in downtown Rochester. Fascinated by photographs of the old campus found in the library, my photographer came up with the idea of photographing the photos of the old buildings in front of the buildings that are still standing today. We also interviewed an old campus alumnus to hear first-hand about the switch.
